The New Hunter on the block, AKA, I HATE JACK

So I got a PS4 at long last and naturally I got the game Evolve. Needless to say, its fun and addicting playing as the monster. playing hunters is just as fun. Seems equal. I think Goliath is my favorite, but Behemoth could take that place if I buy him and play him a lot. Then there is the 5th monster who will be here soon enough.

But the new trapper came out, Jack, and... dear god is he totally fucking broken in my opinion! Jack has this item called the Repulsor, and if he has it up, it makes it 100% impossible to approach him. In fact it sorta locks onto the monster, and it keeps them at a good distance by pushing them away to the point melee is impossible. Its actually kinda hard to move at all cause of how much effective this piece of tech is. If the other hunters are behind him, being the monster just got a lot harder. He's also fast and can dish out decent damage. Good lord, I lost three times in a row without contest.

Otherwise I naturally really like the game. I just hope it doesn't end up eating up all my time.

Edit: Okay, I REALLY fucking hate Jack the Trapper. Like, a lot. I didn't notice this before during the first few matches... but that Repulsor item? Yeah, I just learned how far it stretches, and it is utter bullshit.
No matter... how far you are away from Jack... if he is using the Repulsor, you cannot move in that direction that Jack is in. At all. Its unfair. and I ain't just saying that cause I'm losing. No, I am saying that cause I am losing over and over and over and over and over, and over again.
When a game suddenly turns immensely difficult, its no fun. Except for Dark Souls, cause thats the god damn selling point. Evolve, should not be hard. It has never been hard since its been out. Each side, Monster or Hunters, has been relatively fair. Each side has had about equal chance of winning.
This, however, makes it hard for monsters to win. If I can't move in one whole direction even in the slightest for 10 seconds, how can I win? and how can I run away given the Dome is down?

Bottom line... I REALLLLLLY fucking hate Jack.
