Description

Name: Thor
Aliases: God of Thunder, Hero of Man,
Status: Throughout Present
Alignment: Lawful Protective
Rank: 2

Measurements
Height: 5 Meters(Fourteen Feet)
Weight: Super light

Powers
-Divine Health: Thor’s body can heal much faster than humans. In fact in a day, he could recover from shattered bones. Flesh wounds can heal in minutes of hours, depending on the severity. What he lacks in size and mass, he makes up for sheer endurance in his speedy recovery.

-Super Strong: Naturally much stronger than a human could ever hope, Thor is still very strong for his size. Not even one ton in his own weight, he can lift over ten times his own weight when applying effort. Just because he is small, doesn’t mean he can’t flog them into seeing stars. He can throw a mean punch, toss boulders and other heavy objects, and knock bigger opponents on their ass.

-God of Thunder!: Thor was always well known as the god of thunder, and the legend is true. Thor’s body can hold massive amounts of electric current at any given time. Each hair of his body contains many amps, and he can discharge them in many ways; through physical touch or even flinging bolts of lightning for a long-distance strike. Thor is completely immune to electrical attacks and can absorb lightning or electricity from cable wires.

-Mjolnir: The mighty hammer Crush itself, Mjolnir is a massive slag of molded iron that has been by Thor for as long as he has been fighting. What is unique about the hammer is that it can’t be lifted by anyone but Thor, or at least someone of incredible strength themselves. It’s unclear why this is, but this makes Mjolnir a deadly weapon when thrown or even dropped. Being struck is just as deadly, though the hammer becomes much lighter when in Thor’s hand.

Weaknesses
-Short Circuit: Thor’s electricity is stored over time and not produced by Thor himself. Being dropped in water or being soaked will drain Thor’s amps, making electrical based assaults utterly useless.

-Lightweight: Incredibly muscle strengths or not, Thor can still be picked up, thrown and easily man-handled due to his size but bigger Kaiju.

Personality
Thor is very jolly and high spirited most of the time. The humanoid seems to know no despair, and finds enjoyment in nearly everything. Above all else though, Thor enjoys the thrill of battle. Nothing lights a fire in his soul such as charging into a fight with a powerful foe who is worthy of respect. Never back down, never give up. Thor does know anger and hate, though. Some creatures have earned his true wrath, such as Hera and others of her kind. He will hunt her and her kin until he eradicates them from the face of the planet. Thor will protect humanity at all cost. Humans are kin to him, and he knows they cannot always protect themselves against the giants that once again walk the Earth. If lives are threatened, Thor will stand between them and their attacker and not back down. He also enjoys a good long drink of mead and other such alcohols.

Bio Text
Fire and ruin was all that was left. Lives lost, land completely barren with life and ash falling from the sky. It was a sight that he has seen before.  Long ago and it was everywhere. Animals hunted and eaten until none remained, trees burned into blackened statues. No place was safe while a serpent was on the loose.

News companies around the world covered the attacks made by the dragon. A dragon! It was still difficult to believe that an actual dragon was rampaging in the Orkney Isles. It was the next biggest thing to that dinosaur being found over in Japan. First a dinosaur, and now a dragon; what came next should have not been a surprise.
In local news of the Orkney’s, though, something new had come up. The area which the dragon emerged from has undergone observation since the incident. Further investigation revealed fossils of other dragons, hinting that Hera was far from the only one, and others may still remain. Scary as that thought was, something else put the area on high alert. Reports were sketchy at best, but there were sightings of a giant humanoid wandering the countryside. The media was eating it up as yet another possible cryptid. Footprints were found as well in the shape of what appeared to be a hybrid of a human hand and foot. It was very confusing. The reports continued for a few days in the area, and then they were reported farther south. Just what was going on?

Loch Ness Lake had already brought a lot of attention with the confirmation of a living, unrecorded creature living in its depths. Researchers came in droves, and the tourists flocked in at a desperate chance to catch an image of a Loch Ness Monster. Even with the threat of fire from above just in the north, people were flocking in.
Inverness was bustling, going about its day when the sirens went off. At first there was confusion and then panic when Hera’s shadow soared overhead. Men and women panicked. The dragon dove down, releasing a stream of flame through a street that engulfed everything.
The dragon banked back and came back again with yet another blast of flame. A block or two of buildings were on fire now. Many were already dead.
Hera then came around again, dive-bombing into the street and coming to a stop. People ran from her, even when it just stood there and looked around calmly. Hunger is what she felt… It was there to greet her when she first opened her eyes days ago, along with immense anger that something attacked her. That hunger and anger waned, but most of all she was hungry right now.
Tiny metal objects pelted her wing, getting her attention. There were men there with tiny metal things. The noise and the peppering of bullets annoyed her. In one flash of fire, they were reduced to smoldering corpses.
From then on out, Hera made her way through the streets and pillaged everything in her way. She must have eaten nearly fifty people, and yet she didn’t stop. Only when there were no more people, either dead or run away, did the dragon settle down among the smoldering ruins Inverness.

There she stayed. The dragon curled up inside a building she tore out and slept. The sun set.

The next day there were news teams and military stationed two miles outside Inverness’s border. Smoke rose from the buildings, and Hera was well awake and soaring. It became very apparent that the dragon had staked claim out over the city as its domain. Despite the small gatherings being visible, Hera did not initiate an attack.
The plan right now was to get in the city and look for survivors hiding in buildings. Not everyone got out. Each time the dragon landed in the city, it was clear she was hunting. Those who were left behind were reduced to prey for a hungry dragon. There was no easy way to do it either. Panzers were brought in and attack helicopters in hopes to distract the dragon from the city, or even drive her off if possible. When Hera rose up into the sky around noon, the attack commenced with terrible results. Hera immediately retaliated.
The dragon made a B-Line for the gathering, shrilling madly as she hovered over the area and began to torch everything below her. The tanks were reduced to smoldering statues, melted into place. The copters fared no better.
Hera wasn’t pleased with just decimating the military. The trees suffered as well in her frenzy, making sure none were hiding amongst the foliage. Fires raged onward to make a forest fire. The smell of burning pine rose up with the smoke high, high into the air as a beacon of destruction.

Hera returned to Inverness and found more irritants have invaded her home. Those who were sent in to find survivors were now in need of saving as well. What armed forces were present began to fight back only to fail as the others have, being burned to ashes or eaten. It was clear that fighting at this point was useless and the rest began to tactically retreat with the combination of distractions and flash grenades. This worked relatively well at first, but it also made the dragon far more frustrated. Hera stomped and spat fire onto anything that moved.
The men ran with survivors, hoping to find a way out. One corner too many and they found themselves unable to go no further, cut off by burning ruble. Hera turned the corner. The armed men readied their guns for one last stand. The dragon came closer.
Then she stopped as loud yelling echoed through the air. It was so loud that not even a group of people could have made such a howl. The dragon turned, loudly hissing as it searched for the source of the noise. From the distance came a airborne car, which Hera immediately shot down with a blast of fire.
There, just down the street was a human figure, though much taller than any human; certainly had more hair than any too.  Save for the face and the front torso, this thing was completely covered in shaggy, gold hair. It had a beard, and it carried a massive hammer in its right hand.

The appearance of this humanoid seemed to rile the dragon, but not to the point it lashed out with uncontrollable rage. Hera seemed wary. It was clear she was very unhappy with the sight the hairy man, but she wasn’t attacking with reckless abandon. The gold-furred one raised his hammer and yowled loudly, Hera roaring in challenge. While the two faced down, the cornered men and women made a quick escape. They went unnoticed.
Hera was the first to strike, recoiling back and lunging like an angry cobra. The golden man was quick, throwing himself to the side before bringing his weapon up and striking the dragon so hard that her long neck recoiled back. Before she could retaliate, the tall humanoid came down again, sending her sprawling backward to get some distance.
Thoroughly enraged, Hera breathed deep. The golden man must have known was coming. He turned and ran, climbing over rubble and ducking behind buildings as a wave of fire was just inches away from torching him. The concrete turned red hit, its iron supports dropping as they started to melt. When the fire ended, the man threw stood high up and tossed a large chunk of debris at the dragon. Hera seemed not to care and charged right forward, slamming headfirst into without stopping and trying to catch her enemy.
Now the tall man was on the run. Down the street he ran, each footstep crashing down and shaking the ground. The dragon was right behind him. Fire nearly caught him as Hera breathed fire, but the giant man quickly threw himself around the bend and avoided it. When Hera followed up, she found that he was nowhere in sight.
The giant man crouched down behind buildings, keeping a wary eye on Hera. Quickly as his feet could carry him, he stayed low, stalking around her. Clear frustration emited from the dragon as she lashed out over the buildings, angrily searching. When she leaned her head over public bar, the golden man attacked. He threw himself onto her back and held on with his hands and dexterous feet. Hera was utterly enraged that something had the gall to do such a thing! She threw herself around, screeching and rolling, trying to get it off and kill it!
But the man refused to let go. When he got his chance, he would bash his hammer into her back. A large, bloody bruise formed. Hera threw herself on her own back and successfully crushed the pest against the ground, making him let go. When she rolled back over, he slowly got up. Hera’s back and shoulders were sore. The wounds on the man bled, but soon stopped. Wiping away the blood, it seemed any wound that was once there was no gone.
The giant man spat some guttural words at the dragon. Hera lunged, and this time he was ready. He threw his hammer at her which struck with a loud, sickening crack and sent her reeling back. Before she could gather herself, the man rushed forward and threw his arms around the dragon’s neck now. He was immediately lifted off his feet and thrashed around with the dragons struggles. Hera slammed her own head down over and over, bashing the pest against the ground.
That’s when lightning flowed from the man. There was a flash of light, and then wave after wave of electricity flowed through the dragon from the humanoid clung around her neck. Hera was between thrashing in spasms and going numb. Hera put up with it for nearly a minute before collapsing. Then the man let go…
Slowly he walked away, going for his hammer a moment too late as Hera was up, but instead of continuing the fight, her wings spread and she took the sky as fast as she could. The giant man hurried after her with his hammer, shouting words that could not be understood by those who watched on.

The battle over, the humanoid fell to his ass and panted heavily. No one approached. This thing was clearly not human. It looked very human, but was not.
After a while it got up then, sniffed the air and walked down the street. Curious of the savior, survivors followed out of curiosity. The big guy was found at a brewery, opening up the side wall and pulling out barrel of beer and chugging it down, followed by a loud belch. He went for another, and then another. The people of the city eventually came closer. When the golden humanoid noticed them, he then said something loudly in what sounded like Old Norse, or something close to it. His bit lower fangs made the words broken. The confusion on their faces made him speak again, but this time in a very sloppy English. “Eh’ b’drinking to da’victory? Gud drink’en an gud fight, ya?” When someone asked who he was, he then answered, “I be Thor! Thor I say! Thor of Asgard!”
And from a conversation came a big celebration that live were saved in honor of what apparently was the old God of Thunder himself. A bonfire was made of debris, people got drunk, danced, and overall had a good time. Despite having more barrels of beer than any human could hope to drink, Thor was not as drunk as his new human friends. He was buzzed, and he made good, horrible jokes, but he otherwise was the most sane party member.

By the next day though, Thor was gone. He mentioned he had things to do, places to be, and people to protect from other giants. Thor, god of thunder, was now a savior for mankind.

Important Dates
-Sept 29 and 30, 2033: After her attacks in the north, Hera settles into Iverness of Scotland and attempts to claim the city as her own territory. After failed rescue attempts, Thor, a humanoid kaiju, appears and battles the dragon. After a brutal fight, Hera is driven away. Thor and the survivors then proceed to party and get drunk in celebration before Thor departs.

-June 6 and 7, 2034: A invasion of sea monsters threatens to migrate out of the Black Sea and into the Aegean unless stopped. Marian, getting wind of this, does all she can do in order to protect lives. Nautaking and Shairka both fight valiantly alongside an entire armada against monsters of many shapes and sizes. Thor appears as well, battling from the north shore. After hours, a mysterious gold glowing plankton appears, seemingly being the cause for the whole migration. A powerful cocktail of toxic chemicals are released to kill it, but this initiates a drastic metamorphosis. The plankton becomes carnivorous and begins to devour everything eatable it can reach. After the feeding frenzy, new monsters begin birthing from the plankton and escape down the straits. One of particular size attacks Istanbul, but is eventually killed by Thor, Shairka and Nautaking.

I have to say i very much like this version of Thor, design wise he was simplified a bit but also given more character. The monkey-feet for example is a small touch but a very good one. He remains the battle-crazed Norse thunderball and I look forwards to seeing him put that hammer to the test in the future.
