Description

Name: Redmoon
Height: 90-Meters
Wingspan: 150-Meters
Mass: 38,000 tons

Powers and Abilties:
-Thunder Horn: A horn sits atop of Redmoon’s head. This horn is made of a specific mineral makeup that conducts energies of various sorts and convert them into volts of electricity, which then are stored in special muscles found all over Redmoon’s body. This energy is stored and released as an attack when needed. Redmoon has enough current to bring a monster its own size to its knees.
-Flight: Redmoon has wings, but they do not create enough lift to bring him off the ground. Yet, he still flies through another method. Redmoon has the power, to a slight extent, to manipulate gravity. The combination of its wings and the push and pull of gravity on itself, Redmoon can indeed fly and quite well on earth and in space.
-Space Travel: For all of the debates of what Redmoon is, where he came from, how he got on the moon and why he came to earth; it’s a fact that Redmoon can travel through the airless depths of cold space. This isn’t unheard of since Space-Godzilla did it, but Space Godzilla was an enigma all itself. For a creature that in theory belonged to earth at one point, it remains a controversial issue that will never be decided upon on how it can survive the impossible conditions during interspace travel.
-Plasma Breath: Out of both Erabus and Redmoon, Redmoon was the muscle and had all the raw power. Being heavy, bigger and stronger as it is made the creature, Redmoon can spit a brief stream of hot plasma. Some believe this ability is possible since Redmoon can produce lightning, since lightning has plasma in it. In that case, the Plasma breath itself is just another form of electricity that Redmoon can produce. In a way its similar to Juniors Atomic Breath in power and range. A warning of this power comes from the tiny orbs of energy flowing to his horn before releasing it, much like Junior’s spines glow before he uses his Atomic Breath.

Bio and History
“Leave it!”
“But we need it, X! We can’t leave behind our archives!”
“I said leave it!” X grabbed the other and dragged him along.
But he wouldn’t be forced. He broke away and reached out, grabbing a disk-like device just as the room caved in. If it wasn’t for being pulled away again, he would have been crushed under the structures weight.
Both of them ran down the hall as the entire facility shuddered, lights flickering on and off. Before long they found there way to the docking bay. Both rushed onboard of there ship just as the door was closing.
The hanger bay door was opening slowly; too slowly. “We don’t have time for this.” X grabbed a small device and shoving it into his ear. “Blow the doors open, we need to get out now!”

On command, the ship rotated to the side and released a blast of alien energy in the form of a laser, blowing the door open. Air rushed out into the black void of space. The ship raced out, not too soon as entire hanger went up in flames.

As the ship flew out of the pale dusty surface of the moon, X walked into the control room. “Let the beast have the moon. We don’t need it. She wants us out, we’ll just find a place on earth. And you, Z!,” he shouted. “Do not ever risk your life again!”
“We worked too hard to get this information,” he retorted. “You know we need it. We spent two-hundred earth years gathering this while creating vaccines so we wont die as soon as we step foot on the planet. I am not prepared to lose something so important.”
“I don’t care.” He though of it again. “Perhaps your right. Still, do not risk your life. Information can be replaced. Lives can not. Were few enough as it is, we don’t need any more unnecessary death.” X turned away.
An alert came. “Another life form is coming up behind us, fast.”
“Is it her? She‘s chasing us?”
“No, it’s the other creature. The red one.”
“Even he doesn’t want to fight her,” X muttered. “None the less, seems he is going the same place we are. Ignore him… he will be useful in distracting the earthlings while we enter the atmosphere. Fall back and allow Redmoon to enter the atmosphere first. We will sneak onto earth without being noticed and hide among its people. Our plan is still not ruined yet. We will claim the earth in the name of Xilia and for the Xilian‘s! I, Xexedra will lead our people back to prominence after too many years of waiting.”
“Now wait a minute,” Z protested.
“What now, Zeria?”
“Peacefully, remember? If we attack the planet, we may end up ruining everything. There is much already there we don‘t have to destroy.”
“Yes, yes, I know…“ Even as he spoke, other saucers feel in line behind with the leader ship. “Now, onto earth!”

The same day that Erabus began rampaging, Redmoon came to earth. One of the most enigmatic creatures to ever exist due to the circumstances of where it came from, why, and what it was. All monsters before had an origin. Even Erabus who randomly appeared was though to be a prehistoric creature of sorts due to the evidence of the rock layer it came out of. Redmoon… Redmoon had nothing to back up its origins. Since it came from the moon, no one can decide if it’s a earthly creature, an alien one or something else.
Whatever he was, his sudden appearance out of blooming nowhere was a great disaster and blessing all in one.

He came down in the western part of Akita, landing in the city Kitaakita and demolishing a block just from that. At first the monster was peaceful, but that changed after it got its bearings. Like Erabus, the monster began tearing its way through the city and devouring people as if it was starving.
With power the exceeded Erabus and able to fly, Redmoon completely demolished at least 30% of the city before military appeared. With another monster only east, the Japanese Defense Force was scrambling to take care of two messes at the same time.

By the time they got to they got there, Redmoon was flying in a circle with an absent mind. A few missiles quickly got roused his anger. He quickly turn and gave chase after the tiny bugs that had attacked him. Following one over the city, a blast of plasma from the jaws completely incinerated the jet before the pilot felt a thing.
In a similar manner, the rest were also destroyed.

Three Garuda’s were sent in afterwards. It was believed that the success of driving Erabus back would be repeated in the case of this new monster; A dreadful mistake. Erabus was driven back because she was in a weakened state to begin with, plus all the firepower being unloaded on her, and finally she was stuck grounded while Redmoon was not.

Spying the large shiny creatures flying in, Redmoon made a B-line right for them. These were a threat to him. They must be blown to bits.
Using similar tactics as before, all three Garuda’s went in separate directions so that there target would have to focus upon only one. For a moment, it worked. Redmoon was shot from different directions at the same time and was disorient.
Then he focused on one and began chasing it down. When shot from behind with another, his horn released several thunderous bolts of lightning into his wake. Successfully it threw off his attacker. Problem neutralized for now, Redmoon continued to chase down his current target. A beam of plasma fired and struck the anti kaiju weapon from behind. If it wasn’t for the diamond coating, the Garuda would have been trashed. However, the Diamond Coating was made from Godzilla’s Atomic Ray; not a beam of pure super hot plasma.
If it wasn’t for the third Garuda, the first one would have been blown out of the sky. Redmoon was distracted when a Nitrogen Bomb hit his wing, effectively staggering him and causing a build up of ice on his wing webbing and forcing the monster to land. Getting rid of the ice was effortless, but in the process all three enemies had begun to fire upon him again. Again he was the underdog, lashing out and trying to blow them down, but could not deal with all three at once.
So not it was a game of patience… As another Garuda went by, Redmoon swung around and shot the machine down with a blast to its wing. Garuda #2 spiraled out of control and crashed into the city. One down, two to go.
After the first went down, the tide turned around entirely. Only just after Garuda #2 was shot down, another came in to attack. This time Redmoon caught the jet with his bare claws. The pilot opened full throttle, but Redmoon was stronger and managed to rip one of the engines right out of place. Redmoon threw it to the ground and stomped his foot into it before blowing the machine into scrap metal.

The last Garuda was ordered to retreat. Redmoon on the other hand would not have it. He gave chase, following the ship until he caught up with it. With one swing of the claw, the beast smashed in the wing and caused the ship to spin in mid air. As it came down, Redmoon followed. He put all his weight down into his feet and landed on the Garuda as it crashed and crushed it into nothing but a burning pile of steel.

With a triumphant roar, Redmoon again took to the sky and left the damaged city…

The JDF was scrambling in a panic. Two monsters at the exact same time tear through Japan like they owned the country. Three good Garuda’s, completely trashed, plus all the military sent to deal with Erabus met the same fate of being eliminated without any major effort from the female monster.
Plans were being revised to take care of the problem. However there was so much on the down side as of late. There were only four other Garuda’s left and Redmoon could easily take care of them as he did with the last three. Erabus would have probably done the same thing. Resources already being wasted too on the Feeding Plants for Junior, and Junior himself was still in no shape to confront either monster.

An answer came from the elements already present. There were two monsters in Japan right now. Both were aggressive and destroying anything in there path. So, why not lead them to each other and let the problem solve itself? Surely one monster would be destroyed and the other weakened enough to take care of after the fight. The plan was absolutely full proof and easy. Antagonizing monsters was something that could be done with minimum effort and powerful results.

Later the same day, two of the remaining four Garuda’s were sent out. The attacks on both monsters happened simultaneously and they gave chase after attackers. Naturally Redmoon was the faster of the two and he entered Iwate quicker then Erabus could leave.
Erabus was halfway stomping through Morioka when Redmoon had appeared in the skies overhead. Both Garuda’s were called back and the plan to make the monsters to take notice in each other worked.

…But not in the predicted way…

Redmoon landed several-hundred feet away from Erabus and bellowed at her in what seemed to be a challenging battle cry. So far, so good… At first, the female monster studied the newcomer with wary eyes. Cautiously she approached the red monster, sniffing the air. Erabus made a grumbling noise.
Slowly Redmoon stepped forward, eyes locked on the smaller blue monster. It seemed Erabus shied away from towering height and hissed loudly at him with a cat-like wail. Not that it intimidated him. In fact he leaned in closer, sniffing her as if inspecting the her.

This was wrong, all wrong. These monsters weren’t fighting, they were… Flirting! Of all the coincidental possibilities to ever happen given the situation of having two rampaging monsters, coming from two entirely different places that went farther then the planets atmosphere, this duo of monsters were about to pair up as mates!

As it turned out, Erabus wasn’t just rampaging for out of anger of being woke up by a bomb. She was in her reproductive cycle and making her act unusually aggressive and driven to do what comes naturally. No one knew that, let alone think it was possible. Far as anyone could tell given where both came from, Redmoon and Erabus were two completely and unrelated creatures that wouldn’t even recognize each other as allies let alone breeding.

As the sun went down, Erabus and Redmoon were finally settled with each other, no longer aggressive and cautious of each other. Erabus acted like an overgrown feline, rubbing against Redmoon and nuzzling him. However, where Erabus had her mind on hormones, Redmoon was defensive toward the area around him. Being the male, he was wary.
Redmoon picked Erabus up by her arms and spread his wings. With a hefty flap, Redmoon carried his newfound mate away toward the north where they would be away from the danger he sensed.

Now there was a new problem, despite having one fixed. Redmoon had taken Erabus away into the forests of Hookaido, deep in the remote wilderness. Neither monster would leave the area for months to come, and so no other attacks came. So in a way, the plan was a success and then some.
On the other hand, now there was a pair if cooperative monsters that could rampage again if given a strong enough reason.

Since the attacks ceased and no more lives lost, it was decided to leave Redmoon and Erabus to there own business and not provoke them. If they were content on being isolated and alone, they could stay that way as long as they wanted.
One problem: What if the monsters ended up breeding more monsters? It was a risk, yes, and one day the problem would come to life. The argument that maybe that, like Junior, Japan could utilize imprinting any offspring with humanity and possibly get a second monster or even the parents to protect Japan if new threatening monsters show up. This caused much debate about the risk of danger to Japan, but since new monsters kept appearing out of the works left and right, the idea was too valuable to just throw away.

Until the day the idea can be attempted with intention, both monsters would be left alone and there activity monitored.

As promised, Redmoon.
Also, I made a promise not to do any dialogue for this series due to my crap factor of not being good with dialogue. However, I felt some was necessary. Not much, just enough to point a few things out.
and the Xilians appear! They should be there since the first Godzilla series and the Third series had them. I feel they were needed. I don't think they will get a profile, though... Not unless its demanded.

This might be a slightly weak profile due to the climax... I mean its a good idea but I think two monsters flirting and Erabus in a sort of heat cycle might get some negative feedback... Oh well. I didn't see it happening any other way for me.
Now there are a pair of monsters out there. Way to go humanity, your plan went horribly right! Is it me, or do humans dig there own holes when it comes to kaijuverses? How many monsters are there own fault? Pff...

Now whats next? Gigamoth ~w~ that's a promise.

Enjoy!

Very cool, it's always fun to see what the other fans conceptualize for a version of a "deleted" character. I'm making Redmoon the focal antagonist in my "Godzilla: Triumphant" comic here on Deviant if that interests you. Anyways, good work! :)
