Description

Name: Biollante 2
Height: Grew too 150 Meters
Weight: 190,000 tons

(known)Powers and Weapons:
-Atomic Breath: Having Godzilla DNA has induced Biollante 2 to have the ability to spit forth a blast of radiation from her mouth in the same manor. However, this beam of nuclear energy is a rich, bright green hue, apart from the usual blue and occasional red that was only seen one time. However, this weapon seemingly deteriorated as the monsters DNA slowly feel apart.
-Acid Sap: Like the original known Biollante, Biollante 2 can indeed spit a sticky, acidic sap forth from his(or her, gender was never discovered) mouths. It seemed as the Atomic Breath had faded, the acidic sap became more prominent.
-Vines: Vines upon the monsters body seemed to be sporadically sprout forth from any part, particular the back and arms. They grow rapidly and grew out to a good 200-meters by estimate. No measurements were taken, however. Biollate 2 never seemed to have flytrap-like mouths as the previous known monster.
-Constant Mutation: It seemed from the moment it was born, Biollante 2 was unstable in its DNA. The Godzilla DNA made the plant DNA mutate, and the Godzilla cells began to cause enigmatic mutations that were never understood due to the monsters brief life. Even if the monster was not burned into a blaze by Junior, it may have just died and fallen apart anyway.

Bio and History:
Godzilla cells certainly can survive and create odds and ends. Two known instnaces being Biollante and SpaceGodzilla. King Ghidora cells also seem to have some ruminants of Godzilla DNA, hinting the humans of the future had used Godzilla cells to create there golden hydra.
A creature that literally appeared overnight. A shadow from the past, one could say. Except this time, it wasn’t fighting for humanity. Biollante 2 was a strange case of “Where did it come from” that was debated for quite a long time. Some suggested that some cells from the original Biollante were left behind before her odd decision of venturing into outer space. Another idea was that some of Juniors cells, or possibly even Godzilla’s, some how came in contact and merged with some sort of plant.
However it happened, it happened.

After the whole Ebirah battle, only days, Sanuki in the Kagawa province came under a plague. Strange flowers began to spout in the city. They came in many colors. Red, yellow, white and so on. Seemingly they were much like roses. Save no thorns, and they were shaped slightly different. At first they were few. Then soon the whole city was being transformed into some overgrown garden. Cars were anchored in place by vines, roads congested, buildings blocked in.
One block of buildings was a virtual forest. Amongst all the flowers, one never bloomed. Assumingly the first one to ever sprout, the flower-to-be was the largest of them all. Perhaps this one held the answer to where the vile vines came from.

The entire area was searched and scanned for any sort of clue to what was going on. Nothing came up. Some samples were taken, but it was too late to get an answer from living tissue.
The massive bud rose as if alive. But, it wasn’t attached upon a stem; No, it was attached upon the shoulder of a monster. Godzilla! Wait… but wasn’t Godzilla. It looked just like him, with one arm larger then the other, leafy spines, and the skin of what could be said to be a fleshy, plant material. In its looks, it seemed that it was indeed a sort of Godzillasaurus of some sort. Yet, those flowers… Biollante?

Biollante or not, it began tearing through the city as many monsters before had done. Sanuki began falling at the hands of this new “Biollante 2”. It was almost history repeating himself. Save instead of Tokyo being turned into a sea of fire, it was Sanuki being trampled and infested by this invasive plant monster.

But of course, this didn’t go unnoticed for long; and not just by the JSDF.

Almost as if some sixth sense called out, Junior was had already appeared at the docks. Events here were far more dire then just some monster attack. This was some stain that drove the dinosaur here, to take care of familiar call that the telepaths called “A purge to the species” motive. Going on from that, its theorized that Biollante 2 was indeed a serious threat if a Godzilla of any size was driven to be react in such a short time.

Both monsters meet head on like two magnets drawn to each other. Even from a great distance, both began firing at each other in reckless abandon. Junior wasn’t also just aiming for her, either. He was burning the vines and flowers all around at every waking chance as well. Human beings or not, they too held the same DNA this abomination held. Lives lost couldn’t be avoided anyway in this situation.

But it seemed that every blast that landed upon Biollante 2 did more harm then good. Flames rose, and the creature seemed to burn… But each blast seemed to do something good for the great; at least it seemed to relish the radiation. This creature was a Godzilla after all. Perhaps it wanted fed. Maybe that is why it was now upon its feet and moving around.
Seemed to be the case. Now it purposely seemed to take the blasts head on. In turn, it fought back with sprays of wicked acid that ate at the concrete streets. Any wounds that seemed to be inflicted healed. Vines all around seem to die as it healed… Was this creature using the nutrition from this garden to heal itself? It was hard to say. Junior’s atomic ray may have been killing them as well.

It was only when both monsters began physically fighting each other with tooth and claw did the circumstances of this fight changed. The radiation pulsing from his body… it seemed to have a adverse effect. Biollante two began growing. Several spots upon its body sprouted in thick, long vines that reached out and grasped hold of Junior. They dug in, searching, feeling…
In his back, Junior began to blast and rip the vines apart, pulling away in agony. Those things were squirming under his skin! Rage and aggravation in one, Junior was even more driven to kill this enigmatic creature.

Before the battle could continue, something was happening with the plant monster. The blows before seemed to affect it, but now there seemed to be a greater change. Not only was it growing, its body was changing. The once recognizable silhouette of a Godzilla faded, and became more abominable. Upon its shoulder were a bud once stood; now a blooming purple flower that shimmered with the radiant glow of radioactivity.

Junior was not sure what to make of this change. At first he was cautious as the beast lumbered in place briefly. Soon the battle kicked up again. Vines sprouted from Biollante 2’s back, reaching out into the city. They picked themselves from the already ruined city and quick to coil around Junior’s body.
Even as the tendrils attempted to bind him, Junior was ripping free with ease. These vines were not very strong. Easily ripped, they were. However, perhaps that was the point. Every rip and tear released a wave of acidic sap upon his skin. It burned, seared and damaged. Reminiscent of battles before with Hitoday, Hedorah and Gigamoth…
That made his blood boil.
Fearing the injuries to come, Junior fought like a cornered animal. He tore through every vine that came at him and more. Blasting and tearing away with the power that his parent before him with so many other monsters.

Unlike some other monsters, thought, Biollante 2 wasn’t just taking damage. Each blast was affecting it. The Godzilla cells that were spliced with the cells of a plant were unstable. It was the nature of the cells to thrive on nuclear energy and other exotic powers. On the other hand, the plant cells were adverse to nuclear radiation. While the G-cells grew and divided, the plant cells were dying and mutating. Atop the G-Cells, the plant cells were in complete chaos. It was a mess that was urged to correct itself to survive. Constant mutation was unavoidable.
It was this same as with the previous Biollante; two forms. With the radiation came mass change. Like before, this Biollante will keep changing too.

And change it did.

After much blasting and tearing, the mutations became evermore twisted and dramatic. Size increased, jaw disfigured to what could be described as flower-shaped maw. Legs and arms had seemingly vanished. Course, one arm was always larger then the other. Now all that seemed to exist was roots that barely resembled the limbs they once were. Even the tail was nothing more then what seemed to be an extra large root.

But whatever it was changing into, Junior continued to fight with growing anger. Fighting seemed to do little good. In fact, it seemed to keep growing. Frustrating to the extreme. But one good thing came from this constant evolution. With the plants size, came immobility. Slower with each growth and change. The weaknesses didn’t end there, either.
Biollante 2 was a plant. Flora attempted to root to the ground and that was no exception here. Biollante 2 continued to take root. It’s tendrils and roots would attempt bore into the concrete, or wrap around a building. Every few minutes the abomination was forced to pull itself forward and free.
Not anymore. All the vines and rooting eventually won. Now, Biollante 2 was completely unable to move about, all the while still trying to fight the dinosaur and take what it needed. Now all its attacks came from throwing more vines. It attempted to cast a blast of nuclear radiation, but instead gargled a nasty spray of acid that splattered in all direction. This new discovery that confused it left it open to blasted right in the face.
Make due what you got, how the saying went. Working up more spit, Junior found himself showered with sticky, sappy acid that covered him from head to toe. In a panic he found himself bumbling around the cityscape. The acid burned at his eyes; he could not see. Completely vulnerable, too.
A sea of vines came forth and latched onto Junior. Without being able too see, he was unable to quite fight back, but one thing he knew was clear; he was being pulled forth. The massive flower-like head of Biollante 2 opened wide in a gorgeous purple and yellow flower. It was going to swallow him whole, and alive…
Not that Junior knew, but if it was one thing he was aware of, being pulled closer wasn’t good. Since it didn’t take a genius to figure out which way to attack, he began attacking. Several beams hit the mutation direct in the face and even down its throat. Being damaged, Biollante 2 closed its mouth. Flames were starting to appear along its body after being struck so many times, but this wasn’t what slowed it down. Deep in his body, the DNA beginning to fall apart. G-Cells and plant cells at war, everything was coming apart.

By now Junior could open his eyes. Seeing his foe again, he noticed the flames. It looked sickly and weaker. Weakness brought out the nature in all predators. Spines rippling with energy, Junior began an onslaught of Atomic Beams. Each blast began to blast away the now wood-like flesh. Fire took hold soon.

Within the next 15-minutes, Biollante 2 was doomed to burn alive. Roaring in pain, fire erupted from its throat and into the sky. Night came, and the fire burned. The city glowed with a eerie orange that came with the monster-sized bonfire. Junior only watched… It was dead. Satisfying as it was, this new creature was mysterious and cryptic. Something that even made him anxious ever after he had killed it.

One question remained: Where did Biollante 2 come from?

------------------------------------------------------------

I expect mixed or negative opinions here... Not that I want them. But I have a feeling some people might not be 100% on board with a second Biollante appearing since it would be uncreative, and plus everyone and their mother has done Biollante designs up the yin-yang from making her more plant, to making her more Godzilla and making her further mutated.

..But I wanted to swing the bat at this ball and see if I can hit it.

Thus, Biollante 2.
Making this monster was challenging, yet simple, but still a small project all of its own. This brings another plotline for later on... I wont spoil what it is, but it was an idea for a Godzilla movie in the Hesei that was not made.

The design came from me looking concept art of Biollante on Toho.com. I didn't use any major designs off the bat. Just a little of this, little of that... tried to go all abominable. Not sure how well it will work.

or any of it... but, oh well. Enjoy.
