Description

Stats

Name: Hunter
Alias: Monkey Gecko, Bulldog Gecko
Taxonomic Name: Falcnyhus gekko (Sickleclaw Gecko)
Height: 30 Meters
Length: 137 Meters
Weight: 14,000 tons
Means of Locomotion: Running, Leaping, Jumping and climbing every possible surface ever imagined
Alignment: Neutral
Rank: 4

Abilities:

-Spelunking King: The ability of the Gecko is far past superior then any before in Hunter’s case. His huge toes and hands are covered in the millions and millions of microscopic hairs that go as far as being on the molecular level. Even more so, a high amount of static helps him cling; further to help him grip a surface, each toe has a long and curved claw that can dig into concrete and rock with ease. Once he is stuck on a surface, getting him off would be near impossible. The claws also make very deadly weapons.

-Screamer: Hunter is a recent mutation due to exposure to Mineral-X from a common Tokay Gecko. Tokay Geckos are famous for there vocal calling of “To-kay! To-kay!”. However this didn’t carry on without new adaptations to the monsters overall mutation. Hunter can still bark his call very well. However, now his voice box can generate a loud, earsplitting scream at enemies. The pain is immense to any creatures ears and is sure to give any foe a good solid headache as well as shatter glass. It can also be focused into a beam like weapon.

-Spiny: Tokay Geckos are usually famous for a lot excessive skin on there body that sometimes wrinkles at a certain age in most specimens life. The mutation to Hunter however has given him less sagging skin. In fact, there is almost none at all save for around his hands. The rest is now hard and tight and covered in massive spines! These thorn like spikes cover almost his entire body save for his underside, and only get larger and fiercer down the body; especially in the tail.

-Whip-Like Tail: Geckos are famous for there fat tails, more or not. This gecko’s tail is not fat or even average in size. The tail is massive and longer then the animals own body; from the very base, there are massive spines that shell over it in a deadly fashion that makes tail whips a painful and serious injury. Surprisingly the tail is very flexible and not in the least bit stiff for all the huge spines on it. In a extreme emergency, the tail be dropped and left to thrash around in a distraction like a normal gecko. The tail grows back within a weak.

-Acrobat: With agility and speed, Hunter is very quick and balanced to move across surfaces faster then any other known Kaiju up to date. Losing sight of him for one second is enough to lose the vicious little gecko monster for good, or for it turn around and ambush its pursuer.

Weaknesses

-Small and Light: Hunter is a somewhat light animal. It makes it easy for him to get thrown around by bigger and stronger enemies as well as strong blows. Hunter learned that in the first fight he ever got in.

Personality: Hunter is very stubborn, very bold and very, very tenacious. It isn’t easy to put down this pit-bull of kaiju world without serious effort. The gecko proves to be worthy warrior for its set of powers and personality. He seems to constantly search of limits to his power and willingly attacks creatures far larger them himself to test there power. Seems quite odd for just an animal, but then again Kaiju are more then just common animals when it comes to most of them. Hunter proves that as he is an animal that seems to have no fear at all, only an eye for rivalry. His style is generally biting and clawing, bulldogging enemies with his jaws and almost never letting go.
The lizard commands respect, simple as that. Anything that he hasn’t fought against is fair game as far as being seen as a food source. That is, if its small enough. Humans seem to get the worst of it since most are small and cant fight unless they have a tiny gun or not weapon at all.
One of his favorite things to do is to chase down his food from odd vantage points. Upside down preferably. He finds it very amusing.

History:
August 30, 2019
“Its good too be back…” Heiberg said, staring out to the seemingly endless waters on the Indian Ocean. It had been over two years since he was once again on his ship due to its repairs and upgrades. The ships damages and age had grown on it and every day of those two years to bring the ship back to a shiny new finish as if it was just completed from scratch. Now the ship had six in rail guns, three on each side that could aim. New advanced sonar, satellite homing and GPS, and even six-hundred channels.
But for Heiberg, it was just good to be back on his boat. “Not since the day of the civil war have I been so happy.”
A few feet away, Zero; now two years older and well trained stared at Captain Heiberg with a questionable stare. “Err…” He leaned over to Vagrant who was next to him. “How old is he, again? That happened over a century ago…”
Vagrant had changed very little over the two years. Only his suit was new. With a shake of the head, he replied. “Who knows, I just think he is insane…”
“I heard that!” Heiberg said, swinging around. “Some way to thank me for saving your lives back when Razzek attacked.”
Zero nodded as he was still impressed by that day even now. The day that changed his life. However, Vagrant was less impressed. “You, saved us? It was the monsters that saved us. Even then, Razzek helped save us when that giant piece of calamari attacked.”
“Aye…” The old captain disliked being reminded that Razzek did good that day. He always wished Razzek would remain the monster it was for the crime of taking the old wooden ship. Yet he was satisfied with destroying at least one of the heads, but even that was sour since the head still lived in the now cyber abomination known as Cyber Razzek. “Damn humanity…” He cursed under his breath as he though about the weapon.
Down in her dorm, Marian was at her desk as she watched the television. She had be mystified by the recent event of Cyber Razzek, under the control of Mercy Valentine, was still circling the news like a persistent infestation of insects. Marian could almost spit at how disgusted how the other team… well, in general. Lead by her worst enemy, lead by two shady folks she read up on and did NOT like what she saw, controlling a man made monster made of spare parts like some Frankenstein straight from a horror movie and the fact that the media was claiming that the first time might be too incompetent to match them.
She switched the screen off and leaned her head back, huffing a sigh. “God damn this is heavy…” She stood and went to her own private fridge and got a beer. Normally she would never touch such a drink with her high status and just general decency. Stress was a bitch, simple as that. She took a swig and breathed. “Does the UN even know what they are doing?” continuing to speak to herself. “They have it out for me. Simple as that, this is some sort of big national joke to humiliate me…” She put the can aside and sighed to herself.
A knock at her door interrupted her monologue to herself and brought her to reality again. “Come in.”
It was Zero, who opened the door. “Hey, Marian.”
“Hello Zero. What can I do for you?” Curious why the young boy came to see her.
“Just came to ask about Vastrato. You were watching her, right? I been wondering what happened to her.”
Marian had realized that she herself that she wasn’t fully aware of what happened to the worlds first monster on record ever. She had been neglecting it the last few weeks and as far as she knew, Vastrato was MIA.
Right away she looked at her laptop and opened her tracking program that she herself installed… with the help of Nigel that is who developed it further. A few moments later and she had the global map up and looking it. “Whoa…” She was surprised. “She is far north; and I mean very far. She is only about forty miles off India’s coast. Around Sri Lanka.”
Zero just stared. “So do we fallow her…?”
“Yes.” she simply stated with a cheerful expression. “Were back in business after all.” She closed the computer and speed out her room door and down the hall.
She raced out on deck, her head swinging left and right as her eyes searched for Captain Heiberg. She saw him just staring out to the sea just about thirty feet away. Without hesitation she ran over and began to babble like a kid on sugar highs. “Captain, Vastrato is off the coast of eastern India, about forty miles away from Sri Lanka and closing. Were back on the ship, were back to work, now I need you to fallow her and keep up. Considering were on the coast of Madagascar, I suggest we book it FAST.”
Captain took a deep breath and mumbled. “Of course the damn witch has to ruin the passions of a man and his ship.” He turned and looked at her. “Very well then. I ain’t getting my job done by standing here.” He walked off toward the stairs to go up to the control room.
Before Marian could turn and go back to her room, Vagrant stopped her. “So were chasing her again?”
“Yes.” was all she said.
Vagrant just shrugged. “Where we going then?”
“Where she is. She’s near Sri Lanka and heading north up the West Indian Coast. She must be going to landfall around Bangladesh or something, because here is no reason to corner herself in a bay like that without a reason.”
“Well, if that’s all.” The mercenary shrugged it off.
Marian just smiled. “Oh believe me. It is.” She patted his shoulder and ran back to her room to do more research.
Up in the control room, Heiberg walked in and already gave orders. “We are to head northeast, immediately. I want a high speed of ninety knots. Our heading: The Bay of Bengal and be prepared to change that at any moment. Understood?”
“Aye!” Several of the crew repeated as they prepared to leave.
Moments later, the twin cylinder propellers kicked to life and began to spin. The left clockwise, the right counter-clockwise. This new propulsion system held far more power in it then the conventional fan-propellers that was standard for most ships. So as the propellers began, the ship kicked to life and began to pick up speed very fast.
In her room, Marian stumbled a bit. “Whoa!” she caught herself on the bed. “Damn that thing has a kick.” Talking to herself again. Yet she was gleeful that all was back to normal. “Now were cooking. TO… uh…” she caught herself as she noticed that she was talking to herself for the first time today. With a blush, she went back to her work.

Meanwhile in Bangladesh, trouble was brewing. A jeep was speeding down a dirt road as fast as it could, the driver panicking like the devil himself was chasing him.
Far behind, the trees shook as the beast thundered through them in pursuit of the small vehicle.
In the distance, the lights of Kolkata shone in the distance as its city bustled. Salvation so close, yet so far. The driver knew that and silently prayed as he looked back to see if he was any farther from being stalked.
Eyes on the road is a rule for a reason. The man didn’t see the sharp turn and he turned too late. His jeep turned to hard and it flipped several times before coming to a stop.
Thankfully he was not harmed… yet. As he crawled out of his window and got up, he froze and screamed as the shadow of the colossal creature feel over him, which was quickly silenced as he was snatched up and eaten with the smallest effort that the creature could muster.
Food down the hatch, the big, round, nocturnal eyes turned toward the lights of the city that was miles in the distance. With a loud bark like noise, it shoot forward toward the city…

Sept 5 2019
Sixty miles south of Bangladesh’s shore, most members aboard the Ammonite were asleep or on watch duty. Even Heiberg had retired for the evening and sleep soundly in his own bed.
Not for long, though; phone ringing in Marians room. The phone was new since there was now a satellite hook up in her room. With a bad case of bed head she woke up and reached for the phone. With a grouchy attitude, she answered it. “There better be a monster attacking or so help me lord in heaven above.” Her drowsy eyes slowly widened awake and she shot up. “Right, okay. Were heading that way anyway, we will be there in a day or so. Don’t call the other team, were going to handle it.” She got up and rushed as she looked for her bra and panties, sleeping in the nude and all. “I know… I KNOW DAMNIT!” She hung up as she worked her bra on. “God damn those United Nation bastards. So damn rude. Bossy even.” She didn’t bother with panties, just got on a shirt and pants and rushed out of her room to spread the news that Kolkata was under attack by a Kaiju and that they were to go there immediately.
She knocked on Heiberg’s door loudly. “Heiberg, wake up, we gotta’ pick up speed NOW!”
With a grunt, the old man was up and opened the door with a irritable look. “What in heavens name, woman!?” His rusty elder voice wheezed out.
“Kaiju in Kolkata, we gotta’ be there PRONTO. Tomorrow, or else there sending in the second team with Cyber Razzek.”
Now Heiberg wasn’t one to get worked up that easily over such news, but the idea that Cyber Razzek being used aggravated him to no end. His eyes narrowed and he pushed past Marian as he ran to the control room that was just down the hall. He burst in and rushed over to the speed lever, and quickly shoved it forward which sent the ship into higher speed. With a quick snatch of the megaphone, he issued orders. “All hands on deck, were working overtime! We are to make landfall as soon as possible. Get your asses out of bed before I come down there and throw you overboard!”
Right away the ship was alive and everything was being done to send the ship into overtime to make schedule. Marian would just hope she would be there in time.

As the sun rose over six hours later, Kolkata was in a state of panic. Buildings were smashed and fires burning in a short path of destruction as its attacker lurked in the city. In the streets stood slowly moving KT-Tanks of a new variety. Over the last two years, new versions were made with slightly humanoid like tops that allowed many more advantages, such as able to grapple enemies and such. The metallic claws held a massive Kaiju sized riffle, and able to fire the electrocution cables. The tanks also still retained there Freeze Cannons, the weaker predecessor of the Cry Cannon that resides in Cyber Razzek’s jaw.
They proved to be most useful in this fight. With there new arm extensions, they could right themselves back up if knocked over by a kaiju, which was a serious problem this time around.
As one of the many tanks slowly rumbled through the streets, a shadow feel over it as a heavy tail wrapped around its head and heaved over till it went tumbling down to its side.
The attacker didn’t even stop as it continued to gallop and crawl across the building tops of Kolkata. In the daylight, it was unmistakable from anything else. It wasn’t even a known Kaiju. With its big nocturnal eyes and its clinging pads, a massive and spiky gecko with a tail longer then its own body length, this massive gecko lizard was making this city its own personal stomping grounds for it walked across every surface from the building tops, to there vertical surfaces.
As if it was nothing, the lizards angle changed as it turned the corner of the block without even touching ground level. As it went, its tail whipped various surfaces and smashed structures; a large transport truck that went flying down the street before exploding.
In its wake, the tank that was tipped over had pushed itself back up and onto its treads before rolling after its attacker. Inside, the pilots that controlled its various systems kept in touch with its command. “Target in sight, we are pursuing it now with attempt to neutralize.” As the tank turned the corner at a fair speed that managed to actually at least keep up with the gargantuan gecko.
But it wasn’t going to be that simple. The gecko stopped and looked back with challenging eye slits as if daring the vehicle to even try it. With a sudden leap, the gecko was on the opposite side of the street and over the buildings in a blink of an eye.
“God damn it, we gotta’ go around the block now to chase it.”
That’s what he though anyway. A sudden turn and the gecko was coming around at galloping speed for its low-slung body. Another KT-Tank saw it and issued a warning. “No it isn’t! INCOMMING!”
The tank turned just in time as the creature lunged like a hunting cat, leaping off the buildings and down onto its enemy with the ferocity of a rabid dog. With a thunderous thud, the tank hit the street with the monster on top of it; the jaws clamped down on its arm as its claws raked across the metal with defiant screech’s of iron being abused.
“Get us back up!” Shouted the pilot to his small crew. Within a moment the tank turned and used its free arm that wasn’t being mauled to push itself back onto its treads. The lizard tucked in its limbs and attempted to do a crocodile style death-roll which slowly bent the arm at a light angle. The free arm suddenly lunged out and grasped the lizards neck with a firm grip.
Yet it did not panic. Instead it just released its bear trap like jaws and hissed while it struggled. Its jaws remained wide opened like an angry water moccasin.
The pilots cheered and goaded that they won this since they finally got a firm grip on it; a bad mistake. The gecko suddenly sucked in a two big lungful of air, fallowed by a long sudden shrill! The sound was so powerful that windows all around began to shatter, creating a downpour of glass into the streets.
The pilots were holding there ears in pain. Small lights in there cockpit shattered and the cameras shattered. Even the radios began to fry and malfunction.
Completely incapacitated, the long bodied lizard swung around and wrapped its back claws into the tanks shoulder while planting its front claws into the arm itself in an odd display of its amazing flexibility. Almost smirking, the lizard twisted hard; with a loud metallic tear, tore the arm right out of its socket in a shower of sparks.
The hand released the gecko then and right away it kicked off the machine and bolted right down the street like a jack rabbit on a hot day, leaving the damaged tank unable to fallow it again.
Not that the same was said about the rest of the chasers. Many other tanks moved in to try and trap it as they communicated to each other. “Damn it all.” Calmly said over the radio. “That’s the fourth one its taken out. We need a plan.”
Another replied. “Shame they won’t send in that weapon that took care of that mushroom. I don’t see what Team-1 can do when there monster is water bound.” He stated, before flipping a few switches and ordering an attack. “Fire the Freeze Cannons.”
The metal prongs that made up the hand opened wide, the tips soon flowing with a blue light. A sudden burst and three small beams combined into one and launched toward the feeling kaiju.
With a sudden turn, the lizard changed from ground to building side in a show of defying gravity. The beam missed, but soon it was fallowed up by more beams. Like a trapeze performer, the lizard leapt from street side to street side to avoid the cold ice.
When more beams came in and gave it no place to leap, it did the only thing it could do: Turn and fight. Right down to it, that was exactly what it wanted to do. In a sudden three-hundred and sixty degree movement, the beast turned hard and shot right at the tanks.
They had to react fast, but they were not fast enough. It hit head on with the first tank, nearly taking it over in the process. Without a moment to waste, its jaws latched onto the short head like structure that stood on top of the upper body. With some effort, it tore out the small cockpit and jumped over the next two tanks and past them, going back down the street it came before crawling over the buildings to the next street over…

At the closest dock to Kolkata by sea, The Ammonite was in bay and Marian was just getting off. Behind her Vagrant had fallowed with Zero in tow. “We got to hurry.”
Vagrant replied to Marian “And do what? What do you expect us to do exactly?”
The question made her stomp and curse under her breath. “How am I suppose to know… I wish this was seaside, we can just have her do something. Maybe we… I don’t know, lead it away?”
“Oh, brilliant plan.” Mocked Zero. “Just let us shot it.”
“That wont even work, it will just piss it off.” Before she could let them answer, Marian realized that could work. “Wait, maybe that will work. We can have it chase us into some place where people are not around.”
“That would work, if it didn’t purposely attached. From what the report said, it didn’t even need provocation. It just appeared one late evening and began to eat people.” Vagrant had to point out.
In a fit Marian stomped around and pulled her hair lightly. “For Christ sake, what did the UN think when they sent me here. What am I suppose to do? Its not like its smart enough to at least listen to me or anything. Then again, what Kaiju is…” She seemed defeated.
Then a loud scream and the sound of people panicking, as well as running in the same direction. When the team looked up, they saw Vastrato pulling herself out from the sea and onto the shore. A few meters behind, Shairka watched as the crocodile leave the water.
At first Marian groaned out in frustration. “I can’t handle all of this!” She spat as she rubbed the bridge of her nose. “Does she always have to appear like this? Right when other monsters appear?”
The two boys shrugged. “Maybe she knows monsters appear and challenges them…” Suggested Zero as they all watched Vastrato slowly walk toward the city under attack.
His words didn’t go unheard. Marian stared, wondering if its true… Did this monster really seek out other monsters? Was that why they kept crossing paths? “Well… There is one way to find out. Lets go, we have to catch our helicopter.”

A woman screamed as she hung in mid air, her leg the mouth of the giant lizard. With a small jerk, she was tossed into the air feel back down into the throat of the gecko and swallowed alive. Sadly that was the last human that it could get since all the others ran and hid, rather evacuated.
Without food to chase, it reared up on its hind legs and used its tail to balance its upright standing. With his eyes round and big, it looked around for enemies or anything else.
Tanks were still far off and searching as usual. Fire’s burned and smoke went up into the air from the quiet city below. With no food, the other option was go and fight more of those metallic things… but he was tired and desiring rest for the moment.
Lowering back down, it began to walk calmly down the street. Its body swayed side to side in a odd waddle like fashion, its tail doing about the same despite its weight. Finally it found a wide alleyway, barley enough to squeeze through; perfect and snug. With a quick last glance, the gecko squeezed itself tightly between the buildings, clinging to the stone wall. Now that it felt secure, it relaxed and closed its eyes for a quick rest.
Despite having a siesta, it kept alert for vibrations and noise. At any moment an enemy could come around the corner. So being ready was essential.
It didn’t have to wait very long. It wasn’t fifteen minutes when a KT tank was rolling down the street with its treads crushing cars and small items along its path.
The big round eyes of the animal slowly narrowed into snake-like pupils as it readied for another fight. Just as the tank drew closer, it suddenly stopped. In the distance, sirens rang loudly that were familiar to the monsters own ears; Sirens that went off when it came into the city.
Turning around, the tank speed off. This confused the gecko and tempted it out of its hiding spot, climbing onto the building roof and standing on its hind legs. Even in plain view they tanks did not turn around to fight. With an annoyed high pitched gurgle like noise, the gecko expressed its disappointment in its narrowed eyes.

The sirens were Kaiju Warning Sirens(KWS for short) that had been installed in the recent years in major cities, much like a Tornado Siren. They only went off in the event of a Kaiju was heading toward the city, and in this case there was one; Vastrato, with Marians team coming in behind via helicopter.
As Marian watched from the window, she was still wondering about what Zero said. Proving it was going to another matter.

As soon as Vastrato stepped into the first few buildings of the city, she was greeted by the KT tanks. Before she knew it, it was the same thing as last time: Bombardment. The cannons fired without mercy at the rubbery crocodile with everything they had.
In a sudden fit of rage, Vastrato reared back as she was assaulted like before in the past. With a sudden gulp of air, she expanded her gut like a balloon. Everyone knew what came next… or at least Marian did. In a sudden release, the air released with the power that surpassed hurricane winds.
A few of the tanks were sent flying back into the city like child sized toys. The rest fallowed up with more bombardments.
The more they shot, the more angry Vastrato got. She bulldozed forward and with one swing of her head, had sent another tank flying into another while her jaws snatched another. With no effort at all, she ripped the upper humanoid structure and wasted the machine like a freshly caught fish.
With a swing of the tail, she smashed the rest of them before continuing her path into Kolkata.

Marian rubbed her face in annoyance. “They had to shot at her… They always have to shot, why do they shot at her. It just pisses her off.”
Zero watched with a shake of the head. “There idiots.”
Her attention shifted then, toward the other Kaiju in question that they came here to see. “There is.”
Vagrant then added. “There it goes…” As they watched it slowly head for Vastrato like a hungry cat.
“I want to name him Hunter.” said Zero. “The way he is moving reminds me of the Left 4 Dead zombie called a Hunter.”
With a nod, Marian agreed. “Yes, it does have that sleek and dangerous look. I like the name too. And it seems our Hunter is going after food bigger then it can chew.” She began to talk then like a kid on sugar highs. “I think your right, Zero. I think Vastrato came here just for that Kaiju and to fight it. The question now, is why and how to prove it to the world. This could help humanity, for if we understand why there so keen on fighting and destroying, maybe we can lead them away from an all out war against them in the first place.”

While Vastrato tore her way through more buildings, she was being watched now by the gecko. Vastrato didn’t see it, but it saw her, and the helicopter above was more then aware of the scene. She expected nothing, at least like this.
Hunter, the newly dubbed Gecko Kaiju, scaled the building until it found a high perk and sat there with his eyes on his new target. Quickly it issued the challenge, gulping air down and barked twice very loudly at the crocodile. “To-Kay! To-Kay!” Each grunt starting off like a deep bark and ending in a high pitched baby alligator; the noise’s busting glass as they echoed.
Slowly she stopped in her path and raised her head to her left, her eyes quickly catching sight of the big round eyes of the lizard. With an aggressive stance, Vastrato groaned back to the lizard.
Now that he was noticed, Hunter took a deep breath before releasing a long shrill of a roar at the crocodile. A focused beam of sound rushed forward and shattered glass from buildings in its path.
Vastrato found herself lightheaded and her ear holes throbbing at the high pitched noise, causing her to shake her head in pain. Pain so great, she lowered her head into her arms to try and block the noise out.
That was when Hunter abruptly cut off the noise and jolted forward into a gallop. One, two, three bounds across the building tops and he was right on top of Vastrato. Landing squarely on the back of her neck, Hunter began to bite and slash at the rouge skin like a mad guard dog.
Vastrato began to buck and throw her head around to try and throw the attacker off, but that apparently wasn’t doing any good at all. In an attempt to grab it, she swung her head around, her neck bending beyond normal to try and reach the lizard.
The next thing Hunter knew, his back leg was caught in the crisscrossing teeth. In a cry of pain, he swung around and let go of Vastrato’s neck. As Vastrato’s head swung around, Hunter came pulled his flexible body around and planted both claws right on her snout, fallowed by a powerful bite right on her nose. It was very much unpleasant and she released the lizards leg right away.
Hunter, did not. In fact he hung from her nose like a leech. There eyes connected, Hunter’s being assertive and bold while Vastrato had a very aggravated gaze.
Vastrato began to swing her head around, swinging the lizard around who stubbornly tightened its jaws to her nose like a vice.

By now Marian’s ride had landed and she was watching from a rooftop at a great distance from the two. She was watching through a pair of binoculars. The brown haired lady giggled lightly at the smaller monsters attacks. “Wow, he is actually pretty cute.”
“You find that big ugly thing cute?” Vagrant stared with a raised and assuming eyebrow.
“Yes.” She sighed. “It reminds me of the pet alligator I had as a little girl. It use to hang from my hand like that and never let go. I miss that adorable li’l thing…”
Zero looked to her from his spot next to the helicopter. “So, what ever happened to the baby alligator?”
“Oh.” She flatly responded, then explained. “My dad killed it and skinned it in front of me and made a wallet out of him since he was angry I would dare bring something so dangerous in the house like that… in front of me too.” Words devoid of any emotion.
Both the boys stared wide eyed, shocked and appalled.

With another hard swing to throw off her living nose piercing, Vastrato kept trying to get the persistent fighter off. Her thrashing was becoming more erratic with each movement, causing her to step on buildings and plow through buildings with each movement. If she could just snap the lizard up in her jaw or swipe it with a claw this would have been over by now with ease, but the position they were in just didn’t give her the leniency for Vastrato to reach that far, elastic or not. Each time she reached out with a claw, Hunter would just twisted and pull its body around to avoid it while still holding his bite.
Yet, Hunter was simply not letting go. He just growled and grunted at her constantly as if goading her on.
Finally Vastrato had just about had it with this monotonous game. Snorting into the lizards face, she rose her head high up into the air. The lizards body fallowed the momentum, tightening his jaws in the process. With a sudden jerk, Vastrato brought her head down and pulled the tenacious lizard with her.
Right down into a four story building, she smashed pest right through the structure like a club! In a fit of pain, Hunter released Vastrato’s nose and rolled around in the ruble just in the nick of time; Vastrato was baring down with her claws with all her weight behind it. A quickly run forward and the spiny gecko ran right through her fingers before running underneath her and to freedom.
He was quick, running through the street and into a gallop. Vastrato turned around and broke into a gallop too, giving chase. She quickly close the gap with her neck stretching out ahead with opened jaws. Before his tail ended up in the crocodiles mouth, Hunter’s angle quickly changed from the street to the building walls and continued its run.
Vastrato caught nothing but air and made her stumble. In a few quick gallops she caught up with Hunter and pulled her head around like a battering ram. Again she missed when Hunter went from building side, to rooftops, only hitting the stone wall that quickly crumbled under the attack.
She was about to fallow up when the gecko turned hard as they came around the block corner. The sharp turn and the fast paced running didn’t go well, as Vastrato had to pivot her body weight onto her front claws to stop herself from going past the turn point. Her body swung around as she skidded along, her rear and tail plowing through a part of another block and crushing before stopping. Right away she picked up her gallop down the street and after her target.
Some distance away, Hunter turned and went straight back at Vastrato head on. Vastrato opened her maw wide to snatch up the seemingly suicidal gecko, but again she was met with nothing but empty air. Hunter had jumped overtop and above the crocodile, landing squarely on her back and off again.
Vastrato had to stumble to a stop and turn around to give chase. When she did, she couldn’t see where her enemy had gone. She swung her head back and forth, taking in the scenery and any sign of where it went.
Hanging from a side building, Hunter was just out of sight. He slowly crept along the surface, his pads clinging to the stone and brick at a molecular level. Each time he took another step, his toes curled up to release the surface and his tail slunk behind lazily.
While Vastrato was sniffing around for him, Hunter slowly crawled around a building top. He was slow and edgy, watching her actions intently for a chance to leap on her. The chance came and went many times as Vastrato kept moving her head back and forth as she continued looking for him. Finally she stretched out her neck and looked over to the next street, leaving herself open wide. In one big leap he lunged forward and landed right on her hindquarters.
Quickly Vastrato reared back like a bucking bronco, roaring out as she began to thrash and kick like a unbroken horse. Her body bent and stretched as she went since she was throwing so much force into thrashing around, but Hunter hung tight with his claws as his one rear end was being bounced up as if cowboy. When Vastrato’s head came around with the flexibility of a yoga master, it was time to bail. When he leapt forward and away, it turned out to be a mistake.
Vastrato’s head had bent back with pent up momentum in her rubbery neck and spine. When she missed, it recoiled and came back around and over to the other side and crashed right into Hunter like a bat and a baseball.
Loud and anxious wailing when the gecko went flying several blocks and crashing right into a large six story building. Damages were devastating since half the building went down on top of him, which would need to build the building back up.
After he clawed his way out, he quickly broke into a run to get away from a now raging Vastrato. With not a second to spare, he was back on the rooftops in seconds and bounding to safety.
Annoyed beyond normal, Vastrato seemingly sighed before chasing after him. However she quickly lost sight of him and once again she was stumped.

“Where did it go now?” Marian looked around in the general direction the monster had disappeared too. She had barley moved since they gone, not that it helped since she was so small compared to the scale that this fight was on.
Erie calmness settled over the city. The calmness didn’t agree with Vagrant, who quickly cocked his new rifle; a weapon deemed the Neo Age Rifle that had a explosive cartridge that could pierce destroy a armored vehicle. It was created for this day and age for artillery against Kaiju and future weapons. “I don’t know, but I don’t like this feeling. Be ready Zero.”
Zero reached behind him and yanked out his bow. When he got much better at using bows in general, he gained a new, fold in Compound Bow that was light weight while still able to fire arrows with more then average power. The arrows were customizable.
Now even Marian felt the unpleasant feeling, and she didn’t like it. “…Maybe we should get back in the helicopter…” Backing away slowly.
Vagrant and Zero were soon to fallow… but then a sudden gust of made them freeze. Marian‘s heart sank far down her throat. “Its right behind us, isn’t it…” Slowly, she and the two turned to see the huge narrow eyes glaring down at them, big and round with curiosity. Its hand came over and stepped on the helicopter, smashing it down into a crumpled mess.
“Well shit!” Spat Vagrant who was intimidated and worked up. “Mary, I know your iffy on shooting monsters but-”
“Yes, SHOT IT, SHOT IT NOW!” As she turned and began running. Without looking back, Vagrant fired his rifle three times, each fallowed by explosions and the pain filled shrieks of the lizard.
Vagrant had to jump to the side as the jaws barely missed him, only scrapping up bits of concrete from the rooftop. Before it could fallow, a explosive arrow hit it right next to its ear and left a deep burn mark. Now it was after Zero, who was running underneath its own feet to avoid to being eaten. The risk was still great, though.
Before Zero got himself killed, Vagrant pulled his rifle back up and shot another shell into the geckos arm. Perhaps that plan went over too well, since it recoiled and turned its attention back to him. With a swing of the tail, Hunter had dragged its mace like weapon across the root with no place to go.
Except down. Vagrant quickly leapt off the root and down to get away; just barley by the skin of his teeth did he escape.
That left Zero alone in the open, but he didn’t mind very much. Pulling out a new arrow, he pulled back the string and backed up slowly. “Come on…” When it turned around to face him, he shot the arrow straight up. As it rose, it erupted in a flare and burned brightly.
The plan worked, as Hunter’s eyes fallowed the bright light while he ran to the building side and down a flight of fire escape stairs. A few feet down he found Marian inside a open window. “Get in here!” urgently to bring him in.
Zero quickly got in and got against a wall, his breathing labored. “Damn that was intense for.” He looked around. “Where’s Vagrant?”
“I’m over here.” While he climbed through another window. He was scratched up from the fall. “Lucky I didn’t break a leg or worse.” He sat down. “Well, our ride is trashed for now.” A sudden roar echoed out above. “And I think our little skirmish told Vas’ were to find out friend. We need to, before she smashes this building with us in it.” Quickly he got up. “Lets go.”

Hunter hissed at the oncoming crocodile as she came close. This time, he wasn’t running. As she gained the distance, Hunter spun around and brought his spiny tail across her face in a loud crack, making her recoil in pain. A bloody cut now stretched across her face, dripping blood.
Before she could even try and fight back, Hunter shrieked at Vastrato and made her ears ring like bells. Of course, she wasn’t the only one…

Just as they were getting out the door, the sudden sonic like noise made Marian, Vagrant and Zero fall all over himself and hold there ears in pain. Despite his own, Vagrant pulled Marian and Zero inside just as a rain of shattered glass came hurtling down.
Even though there ears hurt, Vagrant kept shoving the two on after the glass stopped to get them to safety.

Like before, Hunter lunged for Vastrato with intently on bulldogging her again. Not this time. Vastrato’s jaws just open wide and the gecko served himself up willingly, yet no intentionally.
The teeth came bearing down on Hunter, teeth piercing his skin with ease as the sound of bounds cracking and snapping echoed out. He began thrashing about, claws and tail swaying in all directions. It didn’t seem to do any good as the crocodile swung him around like a rag doll. Hunter soon found his jaws around her lip and hanging tightly to try and discourage her, but it failed. Instead she swung her head and smashed the lizard head first into thick stone building.
Hunter was dazed to the point that he let go. Strangely enough, Vastrato casually tossed him away and back into a building. It seemed to be over at first… until Vastrato lifted her tail as high as she could, stretched it out and slammed the whole thing right down upon the lizard with no remorse! The crash was loud and pulverized the building into ruble, sending a gust of wind in all directions.

In the streets, the trio quickly hide behind a building away from the wind as it gusted by. If they stayed out in it, they might have been blown away.

When the dust settled, Hunter the gecko was out cold in the ruble. He had several broken bones and would be aching for some time. Vastrato stared for a long moment before turning away and began walking north, smashing through the city like the rowdy kaiju she was. After all, they shot at her first and riled her, so she was going to make a point out of all of this.
Only when she was ten blocks away did Hunter wake up. He was beaten and worn, but he had enough. He had been beaten and that was enough. So with a limp, he began climbing the buildings and heading toward the forest where it was safe.

Marian climbed the nearest building she could until she got to the roof. She watched as the two monsters went there separate ways, but kept her eye on the new Kaiju that slipped into the tree line and disappeared. “I am sure we haven’t seen the last of Hunter. He is far to tenacious to just stay hidden.”
With a nod, Zero added. “He reminds me of Parry. I wonder where he is…” His voice trailed off as he wondered about his friend.
She gently replied. “I’m very sure we will see him soon. I have a feeling that a lot of new Kaiju will appear soon and he might come with them. After all, your Parry’s friend.”
The reassurance seemed to lighten Zero, but it soon faded “I just hope I don’t have to fight him, though…”
“I doubt you will. He might even help us, since he saved your life and several other peoples lives in London when he first appeared.” Recalling when Parrywiggin’s had fought Vastrato back in London over two years ago.
Vagrant tapped her shoulder. “We gotta’ make a report, yet. Lets go, with no ride we have no choice but walking until we find military personnel.”
“Right… We also need to fallow Vastrato still. She always tends to know where to go and find Kaiju when they appear.”

Fallowing weeks, Hunter would be sighted several times before with a small report of his origins.

“Hunter seems to be a recent mutation of a Tokay Gecko in India’s deep forest. Not much is known otherwise, such as were exactly it appeared first and how many human lives it has taken, but it is known as a dangerous Kaiju that is to be considered a threat to nearby human populations.”

----------------------------------------------------------------------

This Kaiju came out great. I love his design, I love his story, and I love his coloring. What inspired him was my own pet Bibrons Gecko, Geico. The overall design is much like a Bibrons Gecko in general, down to the color and nobs on his skin.
However I made the Nobs big thorny like projectiles, and gave him a whip like tail covered in even bigger thorns. As well, I made this one a Tokay Gecko, which is a famous exotic pet for reptile keepers and is legendary for there tenacious and viscous disposition.
When I think about it, there about as bad as a crocodile on a smaller scale. That made me love it even more since the creature makes such a monster. even as a small wild animal that's only about a foot long.
More points on the subject, Tokay Geckos have so many abilities I could use for a Kaiju such as there Voice Box and there calls. Shrieking Geckos galore.

Now, if Vastrato is my Godzilla, and Hera is my Rodan... THIS is my Anguris. Tenacious and battle ready for anything. I think this stubborn little bugger will be loved by most that like Kaiju just in attitude alone.

Now the story could have been longer and such, but it was dragged out enough. I thrown in some average fight scenes, a new type of Kaiju Termination Tank, some humans against Kaiju and overall plenty of action. I think its satisfactory.

Now whats next? We will see.
